Electrostatic Spraying
Electrostatic spraying is the most efficient method being used today for infection prevention. Electrostatic sprayers utilizes the force of attraction, for the most comprehensive coverage of a targeted surface area.
The electrostatic system places an electrical charge on the droplets as they spray. The electrically charged droplets evenly disperse across the targeted surface.
What this means is, if you have a droplet that has landed on the surface and a second droplet follows behind it, it will recognize that it doesn’t want to be close to the first droplet, and it will seek out a surface that hasn’t been covered yet.
Application not only reaches visible areas but also reaches beyond the front surface to coat the underside and backside of objects, creating a 360 degree wraparound effect on surface.
BIOPROTECTUs™
We use ViaClean's BIOPROTECTUs™ system,
EPA-registered technologies that provide long-term antimicrobial protection.
The antimicrobial coating can be applied to both porous and non-porous surfaces to inhibit the growth of odor and stain causing bacteria.
No rinsing required, even for food surface contact. Protection begins in minutes and remains effective for up to 90 days.
HOW IT WORKS?
When applied to a surface, BIOPROTECT™ RTU forms a covalent bond with the substrate and creates a microbiostatic antimicrobial coating. The coating forms a layer of spikes (self assembling monolayer), each of which carry a positive charge that attracts the negatively charged bacteria. Once attracted, the molecular spikes pierce the cell and rupture its cell membrane, causing that bacterial microorganism to die.
